Hey Ladies! Our home study is scheduled for next week & we have been approved for the accelerated adoption program...SO...I email'd Lenore & she suggested I get started on the accelerated protocol since it could be anywhere from 2-6 months that we have a baby in the house).

Anyway...back to my questions...my doctor has said that she will write me a prescription (haven't gotten it from her yet, though) and so if I don't get it from her by the middle of the week, I am going to just order it myself. Lenore has suggested that I take Yasmin & Dom...does anyone have any suggestions on which company I should order from...who can get it here the quickest, best price, etc?

I have read the protocol several times, but I always seem to get a little confused about some things...is there anyone out there that has done the accelerated protocol...can I pick your brain about it? Do you have any suggestions??

One more thing...I am going to also need some help with the pumping bit (when I get to it). Right after I lost this last pg, I tried to pump, but it hurt like hell...my nipples cracked & it just seemed to pull only on the nipple part. I have a Medela PIS. I have small breasts (not even a full 36A) --could this contribute to the pain? I don't even know what setting to put the blame thing on.

Sorry for all the weird ??'s...I know that many of you are very experienced in this & could be a big help. I have also sent an email to Lenore, but thought it might help to also hear from you ladies.

You can get Yasmin from New Zealand without a script,,,and you can go to www.getthepill.com and fill out an on-line questionairre and the medicine will go to your local pharmacy. I thought you were still pumping?
I start pumping on the low setting, but within a few minutes am able to turn it up to medium setting. Make sure you lubricate your breasts prior to pumping,,,you can use Lasinoh ointment,,,Motherlove herbal nipple cream,, or even olive oil. When you are making milk, you can use breastmilk to lubricate. If you pump "dry",,yes it does hurt. I prefer the Motherlove Nipple Cream...it is olive oil based and more "slippery" than the Lasinoh (lanolin).
There is a woman right now who just did the accelerated protocol with Ortho and domperidone for like 63 days and is having fabulous results, better than me after being on higher dose meds for 7 months. You just never know how you are going to respond.
