At what point does it make sense to up the dosage of Dom to 120mg from 80? How does one go about it? I am 8 days into pumping and still just seeing drops on the nipple and nothing worth saving at all. I am taking fenugreek and blessed thistle 3 pills 3 times per day and eating oatmeal every morning for breakfast. I took prometrium for 50 days before starting to pump. The baby is due on the the 23rd but she will probably be early.

Thanks for your advice.

Personally, I wouldn't increase it just yet. At 8 days you are not very far into the pumping process to see significant changes. I know you are anxious because the baby is coming soon. I would email Lenore and see what she thinks.

Thanks for the advice, Claudia. I emailed Lenore and will see if she responds. I'm curious what other members think as well. From reading the other posts here it seems like those who were successful had already seen *some* improvement by day 8.

Dr Newman now recommends higher dosage of Domperidone. He told me to up dosage to 3 - 4 times a day and 4 - 4 times a day being the max dosage.
But you are just in the early days of pumping.

I upped my dosage, but not until the baby was there and I needed to keep up with supply. But I was making more than drops at 8 days. I think I started at 5 days to make more than a drop. For me the looking at the pictures of crying babies did help, but I had to do it every time I nursed. Good luck to you!

Looking at crying babies doesn't do a thing for me. I tried a few times but all I keep thinking is "that's not my kid." I even tried looking at videos of my son as a youngster to no avail.
