For those of you that already know thanks for the prayers. My story, Ervin almost left me, he almost had a ruptured stomatch, and has severe digestive issues. We finally got a diagnoses he has celiac disease. His doctor said that it would help greatly if I gave him breast milk, so thus starting the journey all over again. It can be done even when it gets discouraging don't quit are babies need us to give them what they were intended to have, not the stuff they make such as formula. Needless to say this may be pain staking free. I was going through a lot and was put on ambilify. I thought I would start. Low and behold I still have milk smile. I thought maybe if I started my own little thread that I would not get discouraged. I was being very selfish when I quit after all I have been through do to weighty issues, but I am done I have had it. My baby comes first he is my world and I am willing to do what it takes. I have sprays btw!

Today I have started to pump every two hours 40 minutes each time. I am starting to get drops and I feeling my let down. I have take the domp 20 mg, and I am going to bump it up to twice a day. Fenugreek and blessed thistle, as well as goats rue. I smell like a big pancake.

Are you going to do the bcp's? I thought you indicated you would start those on the 3rd? If you are already pumping you don't need the bcp's. You're only taking 20 mg once a day?

I would pump for less time more frequently. I would not pump more than 20 minutes at a time.

I decided I was going to do this with just the domp, I am up to 40 mg now, I am trying to get used to my meds again. My doctor put me on ambilify, it is antisychotic, she said that it raises your prolactin, thus I would not need the bcps. I am glad I found this out so I didn't waist my money. I was thinking 20 min every hour and half to two hours.

Jen,

I think I have a better chance with the birth control, because I need the breast changes and I am not going to get that on this medication I am on.

20 minutes is great. So are you going to do the bcp's? If so, you should stop pumping.

I am up to 120 mg of domp and started taking the goats rue powder. I am doing a camp in day today. I have a job at walmart so I don't know how I am going to be able to do this. Guess I will have to buy portable ones. I am getting low on my domperidone. However today I will call officially day one. I am getting drops. A little soar on the breast pumping but I will manage. My son is extremely irritabe.
