I am very happy to announce that our daughter, Molly, arrived yesturday, two weeks early. All are doing super and my nursing is going great. Everyone, and I mean everyone at the hospital were blown away at me producing milk and nursing her. It was funny to have so many nurses and doctors come ask me how I did it and what medication I was taking. At the point when we went to the hospital I was experiencing what I think was a clogged duct, yet I continued to pump in the hospital, and with doing this and then having Molly nurse within 45 minutes of her birth, it feels much better. Thanks DawnL for you suggestions. <img src="http://www.asklenore.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smirk.gif" alt="" /> Molly nursed beautifully right from the start and has continued to do so, when I can get her to stay awake that is.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my amazing news with you all and ask a quick question. How often and for what duration should I pump after feedings? Every one? How long will I have to pump after feedings?
Many thanks,
