Many of you already know me from the ABRW site but thought I would just say HI and let you know I've just recently joined this message board too! I've already had fun reading all the old posts!

Anyway, I'm going to Ukraine this Oct. for two girls. I tried inducing naturally in May of this year and really only got clear drops so I then added 80 mg. of dom on top of oatmeal and mothers milk. I'm now producing enough to be able to layer and freeze. Unfortunately, I have had *NO* luck with pumps because my nipples get inflamed and they don't tolerate much when I'm cold. But, on the good side, I've become a very experienced hand expressor and actually I really enjoy expressing that way!! I think for me, the physical touch is a big piece of the puzzle. When I return from Ukraine I plan on starting Fenugreek and blessed thistle but at the moment I didn't want to deal with traveling and taking tons of pills.

I'm looking forward to getting to know those of you that I haven't met yet!

I don't know the exact ages at the moment because Ukraine does not allow pre selection. However, I do know that my agency is trying their hardest to get us girls since we have already taken two boys. The last time I heard from my facilitator he said probably around 12mths because it's getting too hard to get them out of the country any earlier than that. Regardless, I decided that I was going to try bf even if I came home with a 2 yr. old! My sons were very malnourished and my 18mth old was more like a 6mth old in size and development. So, it will still seem very natural to start bf at a toddler stage.

I'm actually quite nervous because the Discovery channel will be sending a filming crew along with us! I told my hubby that it would really neat if when they came back three weeks later to do the follow up, I was bf both girls!! Now, that would be a *great* story!!!

Wow Sarah, how exciting! I think it's wonderful that you'll BF regardless of age...what better way to welcome those sweet babes home! Is the crew from Discovery from Discovery Health for the Adoption show? I think that would be so great to see someone I *know as I watch that show pretty much daily LOL. Yes, it would be a big bonus to the story if you were BF'ing both girls at the follow up, BUT, it'll be a wonderful story regardless! The agency we used to adopt both our sone (domestic-infant-open adoptions) has been on the show...they had the first set of newborn triplets adopted last year in an open adoption : ) Best of luck to you!!
