Well, ladies, we just may be on our way to a baby! A birthmom in Illinois told our sw today that she wants us to have her baby girl, due in the next week or so. I am (cautiously) hopeful that this maybe our baby!

Mary,
I am so happy for you. It will be wonderful for you and your family to have a baby for Christmas. Have fun anticipating your daughter's arrival. Soon too you will be welcoming your other daughter from Ethiopia, you must be on cloud nine.

Congrats,
Bella

Mary,

I scanned your web page. what a beautiful family. I just wondered if you would answer one question, please. How do you do it with six children, two more expected, home schooling and pumping???
I'm sure others would like to know as well.

Hehe! I may be wondering the same thing when both babies get home and I am trying to get them both to nurse and settle in while cooking and kids sports practices, etc, still need doing. I am thinking I'll need to enlist grandma for awhile. But I pretty much thrive on busyness and activity. I am the oldest of 8 kids, so I am used to crowds! My big kids are a big help with housework, too. Things have a way of working out.... I can't tell you how eager I am to quit pumping tho. I would NEVER have begun pumping back in May if I had known the wait for a baby would be so long....it has not been easy.
praying here that this match works out....

Mary,
That is a pretty name..let us know when you hear anything..
I keep telling my husband,,"Mary will have 8 kids,,she home schools, is pumping etc. " He is impressed. I am trying to talk him into us re-activating ourselves with our domestic agency for a newborn placement...we'll see! Take care, Cathy
