OP rocken_robin26 member Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 93	I stopped the domp about a week ago and I am still making milk. The baby is nursing about 15 minutes per side then taking a bottle. I am happy with this and so is my DH. I pump about once a day just to check if I am still making milk and get about 3 ounces each time I pump. I have tons of frozen milk so even if I don't fully supply her from the breast I have my milk to feed her. That to me is important.! Savannah Rose Marie due April 13, 04 via TS

Lenore extra helpful experienced member L Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 1,347 Canada	Hi Robin, CONGRATULATIONS!!! You're doing GREAT!!! Try to pump after feeds to help your milk supply. It sounds like you won't have to supplement for long. Try to supplement using the Lact-aid. That's much more breastfeeding friendly. But if you have to bottle feed please use the AVENT bottle with the single holed nipple. Stay with that nipple the whole time and disregard what the package says about 2 months 2 holes and 3 months 3 holes...that's the fastest way off the breast. But if you stick with one hole, the flow will be slow and your baby will be less likely to demand the bottle instead of the breast.
