Hi! I'm 32 weeks1day today.
Went for my sono & the sono showed 32 weeks 6 days but the doc said that my baby averages out to be about 31 & half week right now.I didnt ubnderstand it.
She's in breech position.
We had some communication problems with my doc & I seeked second opinion turned out my doc was doing everything right but just not explaining us well!
We didnt get chance to talk to him today but I'm concerned about this communication break.He thinks I'm worrying too much but what he's not understanding is that after a loss of 3 babies I can't take chances with this one.
ANyways! I go for enxt appt on MAy 24th & will sort all this out.
He'll induce me on June 28th If I go that far along & switch me to heparin 2 weeks b4 that!
I'm just hoping for the best & praying!

This is all good news. It's not uncommon for baby to be breech at this point. You still have 9 weeks to go (or sooner) to reach term so that's plenty of time for your little one to turn around.

Don't be afraid to talk to your MD. They are there to help.

I am so glad to hear that things are going well! Like Lenore said, it is common for babies to be breach at that point. Brooke was complete breech two weeks before her due date, with her cord wrapped around her neck twice, the following week when my Dr. checked me she couldn't believe it, she felt a head. Sure enough, we did a quick sonogram and Brooke had completely turned around. Normally you are supposed to feel that, I didn't feel a thing, Brooke was a very active baby ever since I could feel her <img src="http://www.asklenore.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> Anyway, I went from a planned C-section one week to a planned induction the next. Not only that, but she came so fast once she was induced she ended up delivering naturally, no time for that epidural. Also, much to our surprise, the cord was no longer wrapped around her neck! My dr. did indicate that I had the longest cord she had ever seen, which is I guess why Brooke was able to sneak out of it and turn around.

I do hope I'm as lucky as U barbi!
I dont want to take epidural or any meds but watching the videos of labor I think I might have to.
I just want my baby to come soon but doc says first time babies take hours& hours.
OH well! as long as my baby is fine & healthy:)
I'm just so eager to welcome her.

They are inducing you right? Everyone is different but induction speeds things up. All of my boys came in under 6 hours once the meds kicked in. The longest was 5.5 and the shortest was 3 hours. So you may go quicker than they think. The last one I did without any pain meds. and all of them were without epidural. You can do it. A great book to read is Birthing from Within. It helped me alot.
