Lenore,
Another ?
When should I start the herbs? Are they for plateaus only or to be used as soon as pumping starts? I hate sucking down all those pills <img src="http://www.asklenore.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Shannon,
How much are you pumping right now? You may not need the herbs.

Hi Shannon, Nona,

Welcome to the new forums!! It's so good to see you!!!

As far as the herbs go, we usually recommend that you wait until you're pumping. The idea is to help jump-start milk production by giving your prolactin level another boost after you've been on the domperidone a while which as you've mentioned, can cause a plateau.

Fondly, Lenore

How concentrated are the herbs in the Mothers Milk teas? Are these helpful? <img src="http://www.asklenore.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hi Shannon,

Mother's milk tea contains fenugreek but not blessed thistle. The concentration is mild. This tea is helpful in terms of increasing fluid intake and it seems to be helpful to bio moms with established milk supplies. You can add it to your regimen, I used it myself. It's very pleasant and a way to give yourself a nice break...do something nice for yourself.

fondly, Lenore
