I bled all the way through it but once I stopped the birth control pill and started pumping I didn't see "aunt flow" for a year. At this point I've been either pumping or breastfeeding since last September and have not seen "aunt flow" since. At what point in your cycle did you start the bcp? Fondly, Lenore Goldfarb, Ph.D.,CCC,IBCLC Wife to Rob, Mom to Adam aged 13, and Ethan aged 9, both born via GS and breastfed via Regular Newman-Goldfarb Protocol.
