I use (don't laugh <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />) Milk Thistle is it the same as Blessed Thistle or close to it. I am having trouble finding Blessed Thistle here in Japan. I do have a lead for a Herbal Food store to see if they carry Blessed Thistle.

Also can I continue to stay on the BCP a little longer until I find me some Blessed Thistle this weekend ? Shouldn't I continue the protocol until 6/30 to get a full 60 days vice starting pumping on 6/21.

I guess I am a little nervous about starting pumping and not getting any milk.

I started the protocol 4/30 and the baby is due around 7/27

Yasta, Milk Thistle is not the same as Blessed Thistle. I am not sure about the pumping. Are you going to stay on the protocol until you get the Blessed Thistle ? Is there someone in the US that could get you the herbs and send them?

Yeah, they're different. If you're ready to start pumping, I wouldn't worry about having the Blessed Thistle on hand yet. You can add it later if you're not seeing as much milk as you'd expect, but I never used it at all and had a full milk supply for Adam.
