I am on day 22 of the protocol and I am wondering when a baby is in sight how long should you pump before baby comes?

Hi Joni,

It depends on your situation. If you've been on the protocol a while, like LD has, then you can start pumping 4-6 weeks before the baby is due to arrive. But if you're on the accelerated protocol, it gets a little bit tricky. You need at least 30 days on the meds. So ladies pump for 3 or 4 weeks. It depends on how much time you have. 6 weeks is the ideal but only if you've been on the meds a while.

Fondly,
