Can anyone please tell me what type of experiences and effects pot has on a baby when a mother is still pregnant. I believe the mother has smoked it off and on during her pregnancy. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Honestly, I wouldn't be very concerned. Cole's birthmama smoked pot so we researched it and found nothing to really worry about. Lots of women use it as a herbal remedy for morning sickness when nothing else works. And I know of midwives who try to get alcoholic mamas to smoke weed instead because it's much safer than drinking.

Since we are on the subject of smoking pot.. What is the research on a birth mother that smokes cigarettes? Are they harder on the fetus than pot? I know they say pot has a lot more tar in it than the cigarettes. I maybe wrong on the tar. I know its alot more of something.. I am curious to find out about the cigarette smoking

I'd like to know more about long-term effects of cigarette smoking too. Naomi and Noah's birthmother smoked throughout both their pregnancies, and they were both small. But I don't know if it affects them as they grow up. Hmm. I'll look around.

I guess also pot isn't as dangerous because one doesn't usually smoke 25 joints a day like a smoker has cigarettes. If anyone was using that much weed, I'm sure the effects would be worse.
