HI! I just wanted to log on and encourage all the new ladies who are inducing lacation. I see there are seveal ladies that are doing very well on the protocol. Keep up the good work. I wanted to just let you know that IT WORKS!! I was on the Acc protocol. By the time my daughter was born I was pumping 30 ounces a day! It is the best thing I have done. It more then makes up that I couldnt give her life to know that I can maintain her life through the breast milk I have made. She is now 6 months old and I have no plans on weaning anytime soon. I want to thank Lenore and the other ladies on this board who have helped and encouraged me. Thank you Thank you Thank you. I love to share with others that I am able to nurse my adopted daughter. I am hoping that this will become common and not so "unheard of". Good luck ladies.

how long were you on the protocal? How often did you pump and how much was you pumping at first?? I started pumping last week. Im so happy for you and your daughter!!!!

I was on domp and Yasmine for 2 months. I was on Domp and the herbs for another month and 1/2. So I guess a total of 3 1/2 months. My first day I think I got 1 ounce. The next day 1 1/2-2 ounces. It seemed to go up about 1/2-1 ounce a day. I pumped every 3 hours for about 20 minutes. I know on day 9 of pumping I was pumping 6 ounces a day. I had it all written down but I threw the paper away <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. I wish I would have kept it. It would be nice to go back and look at.
