I am taking Dom, and herbs, and did the accelerated protocol. I am getting drops from my left breast, and nothing from my right. I have been pumping almost 2 weeks now (I think! )
I am drinking my water, and pump during the day atound 7-10-1-4-7-10, and almost every time I pump I get a few drops. It's still greenish but I think this is due to not flushing all the gunk out. How long before I can expect more milk to come? I'd hate for the little one to come, and me still be producing green milk.

Its hard to say when actual drops will come. Some ladies respond really quick. I like you did not. Are you doing the massage and jiggle as well? What kind of pump are you using and what setting are you using it on?

Yes. I massage before I pump, and then after 7 mins or so I stop and jiggle, and massage.
I am using a PIS, and I have it on setting 5, and on medium suction.
A few times when getting no drops from the PIS I tried my manual ISIS, and got a few that way. There is lots of suction.. just seem to have cranky boobs.

Looks like you are pumping every 3 hours you may want to try and pump more frequently and also at least once during the night.

Ok, I'll try every 2 hrs today.
I actually woke up this am with my left breast aching, so I massaged then pumped, but got nothing.
This is such a frustrating process!

i realize this is a never ending process. or so it seems. I was on the protocal for 36 days and started getting drops right away, for me the trick was pumping more frequent. i would pump every 2 hrs and for a couple of wks i would pump every hr in the evening.. it is very time consuming but well worth it. Keep up the good work.. angie

I am not even getting drops today. ARGH! I am finally getting over the horrid cold I had. Need to push the fluids, and pump, pump, pump.
We need a smiley that is pulling out it's hair.

I agree, I want a pulling hair out smiley too! This pumping is really hard! I am trying hard not to be stressed about it, but pumping at work IS STRESSFUL. And at home I wish they had pumps that just stuck on and stayed on without tubing so you could still be up and doing stuff

Catlady, were you taking anything for your cold? Some OTC can dry up your milk, be careful. Just kleep up the pumping.

Over the week I took 4 doses of cough syrup. I had to, or lose my sanity. I am pushing fluids hoping to get things going well.
