Hi Laura,
I've been on domperidone now for over 2 years. I also had some weight issues. What I did was increase my protein and decrease my carbohydrates. That helped me a lot. Every now and then I also do a Master Cleanser Fast. That's good to knock off a few pounds depending on how long you do it for. Here's the link to the Guide to the Master Cleanser Fast:
http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Spa/7244/master_cleanse.html And here is the link to the forums where you can talk with other people doing the fast:
http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=478&t=37426Note that I don't do the laxative thing and I don't do the salt bath because frankly, they can leave you incontinent (running to the bathroom all day). I use the cleanse as a diet, not as a cleanser.
Once you go on it, you can't really eat anything until you go off it and you must follow the instructions for getting back to regular food. You need to drink orange juice the first day back to regular food and I buy a vegetable soup at the health food store and slowly get back into eating. This diet has knocked 20 pounds off me and each time I did it for a month.
This is also how I discoved the value of maple syrup and it's effect on milk supply. I found that while on this diet, my milk supply did not go down...it went up. I later, when I could eat again I added maple syrup to my oatmeal and again my milk supply went up. Ethan is 20 months old and still breastfeeding.
Hope this helps. Warmest regards,
