I have been meaning to post. Our baby, Mercy Hosannah, was born 07/12/05 and we were allowed to bring her home 07/14/05. They gave her bottles and formula in the hospital (long story) but as soon as we brought her home she latched on immediately and hasn't had a problem ever since. The pediatrician says she is getting all she needs from me with no supplements for now, and we will see what happens in the future by watching her closely. Let this be an encouragement to all that this can be done and I wish you all the best as I am now experiencing!!!

thank you all!

today i had to use the SNS because Mercy was just famished... growth spurt I suppose. I am trying not to be disappointed that we have to use the supplementer... hopefully i'll "get over it" soon!!!

Don't worry about having to us the SNS. Its not all about the milk. It will be okay either way . I am soooooo happy for you
