Right when I need it most, my pump started acting strange. At the normal adjustment of medium suction, it is barely sucking. When I turn it up to maximum suction, it sucks even more lightly than when it was on medium level before.

Do you know what can go wrong with these? I have the Medela PIS.

Is there some way we can open it up and fix it?

Tomorrow, I'm going down to the local hospital to see if I can rent one. I can't afford to not pump. I don't want my supply to dwindle but rather increase right now.

I saw from your other post that the problem was due to a cracked part. It's good to know that you were able to contact the manufacturer and receive help.
