I know most on here won't know me, but I am no stranger to the protocol. I used the protocol to exclusively breastfeed my son, whom we adopted at birth. I was on the protocol for 9 months, and got tired of being on it, so I started pumping, even though we were not yet matched. Our son was finally born, 10 months later. That's right, I was pumping for 10 months!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> I pumped 6 times a day, every day, the entire time. My freezer in the garage quickly became full, and I started donating my milk. By the time my son was born, I was pumping 30+ ounces per day.
We are gearing up for adoption #3 here, which will be our final adoption. I just started the protocol, and will be on it as long as possible. I am hoping that we won't have a long wait ahead of us, and I intend to be very aggressive in finding our child. The only downside might be that I might not get to pump for very long before our baby is born. Obviously, we are not matched with anyone right now, but who knows when and where our child will from.
Anyway, I just kinda wanted to reintroduce myself, and say "Hello!" to anyone around who might remember me.
