I have been on the Protocol since 7/31, so not very long at all. I have a Mammogram scheduled, my very first one, on 8/24. I didn't think much of it, but I already have huge drops, and I'm wondering if I can even go ahead with a mammogram at this time? Wouldn't it make a huge mess? Would they be able to read anything, with all the "activity" going on in there?
I have one scheduled because my mom had breast cancer last year. My Dr reassured me, as mom's breast cancer was post-menipausal, and I'm still menstruating, at 35 years old, so I don't have to worry as much this time. It's not until after menipause that I should really be extra dilligent.
But the Dr thought it a good idea to get a mammogram, just to be safe. He said this would kinda give us a "baseline" for my records, so we can look back when I'm older and see how everything compares.
Anyway, do they mind a milky machine, when giving mammograms?
