I can cope during the day. It's summer and people are used to being hot in the summer. At the 3am pump I go super hot. I mean I'm sweating buckets and radiating heat like crazy. Is there anything I can do to lessen the flashes without lowering my milk supply? Will they go away eventually? Does anyone else get hot when pumping?

Hello,
I got hot flashes when pumping, and still get them at most feedings even after a year. I'm not on any hormone replacement, as I don't want to risk my milk supply. I've accepted the hot flashes, as the price to pay for breastfeeding my son. Hope that yours get better soon, as I've heard that for some women they do lessen or go away after a while off the hormones.
