I am pumping for our baby, who is scheduled to be born, via c-section, on Thursday, October 19th. I am increasing my supply every day, but I'm sure I will have to supplement. At least at first. Does anyone know how much milk I should have for me to stop supplementing?

A newborn has a tiny little tummy. The most they can eat at a time is about the amount equal to the size of their fist. That is after the first few days. At very first, they can only handle teaspoon amounts. You can gauge if baby is getting enough by counting wet diaps; first day (full day) one wet diap, second day, two wet diaps, etc. Ask your pediatrician at the first check-up at what point you max out that count. You almost certainly don't have to supplement at first.
Hope that helps!
