I was wondering how long it will be before my breasts stop making milk. I quit nursing about two months ago and still find the milk flows heavily still when i squeeze them?

did you use herbs/ domperidone to induce?
typical instruction is to eliminate any nipple stimulation, and to avoid heat on breasts (such as warm water during bath/ shower) Cabbage leaves in the bra can help reduce swelling if you are experiencing engorgement as you stop. My experience is with Newman-Goldfarb protocol. I weaned myself from domperidone/herbs as instructed. I got horribly engorged.....Did not touch my breasts at all...truth be told they were so sore it was easy to avoid!! Had cabbage leaves in my bra for a month straight. help reduced engorgement and within two months i felt my breast return to pre-nursing status (just a bit deflated!)

Thanks for your advice. I did the Newman-Goldfarb protocol. Happy that I didn't get engorged. Will follow your ideas except the cabbage. I don't think I can handle that.

Cabage has been used as a homeopathic remedy for engorgement for many years. We're not sure how or why it works but mothers swear by it. Another way to reduce milk supply is to consume sage with your food or in capsule form. You don't need much.

It's important not to drain breasts while attempting to diminish milk supply because that has the opposite effect.
