Hello...
I spoke to a lactation consultant a few days ago about how to continue to increase my milk supply for my 7-month old son, and she suggested increasing my dom. intake to 90 mg/day - is this safe? Do you recommend this at all?
I am already taking the herbs, eating oatmeal, drinking tons of water, pumping after feeds - so this would be just one more way to get as much milk as possible.
Thank you! Karyn

Yes 90mg a day is safe. I am taking more than the 80 on the protocol. It is safe to go up to 120mgs a day. But I would consult with Lenore before attempting this. Let her work with you on increasing and how much and how long between increases.

Our baby is due October 12th . From the beta test the doctor thinks it could be twins. So they have sent her to a high risk O.B. Won't know for about 3 or 4 weeks from now if its one or two. I think one. But she has 6 year old twins and 3 sets of twins on her side of the family ... so we will see.

Nona how exciting. I always wanted twins. Are you going to find out the gender?

I would love to know what the gender is. But I will have to wait 4 more months for that. She is 6 weeks right now. With the ultasound they will be able to tell if there is one or two sacs. But that will be about all. And I will tell ya... there are not many cute either gender clothing out there. The sleepers are a washed out yellow and green. I want vibrant green yellow and orange! I have got 4 cute onsies so far... but thats it at this point

Wow, congrats Nona!! How exciting...and I totally agree with you - if you aren't into pastels there isn't much out there! Our son is dark skinned and so looks great in vibrant colours, but they are so hard to find...and boys clothes get even worse as they get older with all those horrible comic book character shirts, jammies, etc...yuck! Bonnie Togs has lots of nice stuff in great colours though - they are in kitchener/Waterloo and you may be able to order online....

I just looked and they don't have online shopping. All of their stores are in Canada. I can't remember where you are Nona but I thinkit is US. Have you tried baby gap? They still have some cute gender nuetral stuff. Also I like shoppign online at www.hyenacart.com lots of neat stuff. It is a WAHM site (work at home Mom) but you can find some really cute stuff in the different webstores there.
