Mommieland the advice you are receiving is not the protocol we recommend. Taking the Yasmin or Ortho 1/35 continuely makes your body think you are pregnant. The Domperidone is for breast development. They work together, taking the birth control pill without the otehr is really a waste of time. frown I would suggest you print off the protocols and show them to your doctor. This is atried and true method that hundreds of women have used with great success.
As for your other question about the Microgestin, unless it is the exact same % of progesterone and estrogen as the Yasmin or Ortho 1/35 then it is not effective for the protocol. Is the Microgestin a mini pill? Those are not recommended. We also don't use Progesterone cream. The bcp has the amoutn of progesterone you need and along with the dom works fine. You are probably not seeing breast changes because you aren't really doing the full protocol.
Hope this helps.

thank you so much, I do have the DOM so I can start that today - wasn't sure what the deal was..>I will look into the particulars of the protocol today and print those off as you suggested. THANK YOU

ALSO ONE MORE QUESTION (for now LOL): I noticed that my packages of Motilium (Dom) say to store below 30 degrees Celsius...should I be keeping these in the refrigerator?????

I didn't keep mine in the fridge. You may also want to print off the above posters article about Lenore and the protocol. It even states in there that the bcp alone is not helpful for women trying to induce.

I would follow the regimen of taking the dom while you are on the birth control. There is a symbiosis between the two. The two meds prepare you to lactate while the birth control suppresses it. So when you come off of the birth control and start pumping, you continue with the dom and start making milk. I was told not to worry about switching to Ortho 1/35 that breast changes don't mean that much. I'm thinking that some people see drastic breast changes others very little. And you've got to figure you need to skip a period or two before you can see anything. This is my take on it.

mommieland make sure you work your way up to the full dose. Don't start off with the full 20mg 4x daily

If your not getting headaches from the Domperidone you can go ahead and up it.... Also if you need progesterone. I would suggest the provera 2.5mg. That is what I am taking along with the birth control pills. The cream is not going to work for you.

yes I am curious also about that...and a friend of mine told me that provera is a synthetic progesterone or progestin maybe whereas the cream is supposedly 'natural'??? anybody know anything about this?? the cream has worked wonders for controlling my extremely heavy periods. But maybe the provera will be better for induction?
