So, when you say Ortho 1/35 is that the same thing as the Ortho Novum 1/35? When I do a search for Ortho 1/35 it seems that I could only get that from Canada...so is the name of it in the US Ortho Novum 1/35?
Also, on this website under the breastfeeding topic at the very topic, then under adoptive breastfeeding, then under significant breast changes (or something like that) this is what is there:
These symptoms are indications of adequate growth of the milk making apparatus of the breasts. If the mother does not experience significant breast changes within 15 days of beginning either of the protocols, she may want to consider increasing her progesterone intake.
There are three reliable ways to do this.
-Replace her current birth control pill with Yasmin. This medication has three times the amount of progesterone that is in the "1/35" type birth control pills.
-Replace her current birth control pill with Microgestin. This medication has a third more progesterone than is in the "1/35" type birth control pills.
-Continue on the current "1/35" birth control pill and add at least 1 mg of progesterone another way such as by adding 1/2 a pill of Provera 2.5. This is sort of confusing. I was under the impression that the new BCP that you were recommending is the Ortho 1/35 which IS a "1/35" BCP that is not recommended above...

Also, if the consensus IS to take the Ortho Novum 1/35 can I still take the Provera 2.5 to add even more progesterone? (I want to do this because I think that not having enough progesterone is what kept me from producing a full supply, due to lack of breastmilk making tissue, the last time.)
Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom!
Peace & Blessings~
