I am having a little trouble finding the Ortho 1/35 so I asked my best friend (who is a pharmacist) to look something up for me.

This is what she found:

Hey there! It does look as if the Ortho 1/35 is a Canadian product. However, it looks as if Necon 1/35 (U.S) is the same as Ortho 1/35.

I guess I really need to know which BCP (out of all of them, not just the above two) is the most effective.

And, which one has the most progesterone?

Thank you!

I'm taking Necon which is just a generic form of Ortho...and extra progesterone with great success.
I wasn't seeing changes on Yasmin but I think it varies from person to person. Hope this helps.

Oh, thanks so much! That does help a whole lot! If I can find the Necon...that's what I'll do, too. What extra progesterone do you take?

Provera 2.5 mg is what's usually suggested. I'm on a generic form of it called medroxyprogesterone.
