OK, thanks everyone! I bought a PIS.
I'm familiar with this kind as I used it for a year with my bio daughter who was born with a cleft palate. So that's good.
Can I sell the Ameda? It's used but in excellent shape.

Also - I would DEFINITELY buy the battery pack and not use a hand pump on the plane. We had a 30 hour trip and not buying a battery pack was a terrbile decision. Trying to hand pump in a cramped bathroom while people are contuinually knocking on the door is not fun. You can buy the battery pack for the PIS on ebay even - it last for about 8 hours. I also bought the car adapter which was great while travelling as well.

are you talking about the big battery pack? It runs about 150.00 I have it. It has a wall charger to charge it up. It is fantastic. Makes me mobile everywhere in the house. I got mine for 50.00 from an individual 4 years ago. Shows you how good they are ...and they hold up over years of use.

I used the Ameda Purely Yours with Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle, Oatmeal, and Domperidone and got a full supply for my baby. We never really supplemented except a couple of bottles of EBM. I did not do a protocol. At pick-up, I was making 24 ounces per day and I know I was making more than that with in 2 days of pick up.
